Hello my dear, welcome to Golden Era-
My name is Kaylan and I am a studio hairstylist located in beautiful Chicago, Illinois. Over my 13+ years in the beauty industry, I have focused and dedicated my craft to custom hair color. My goal behind the chair is to help you come to see your best self through creating a look that is completely unique to you. Not one person is the same, so no head of hair should be!
Utilizing different techniques, I love to work with you on a design that represents who you are and who you want to be. Whether that be through lived-in blonding, custom depth, volumizing extensions, or a texturizing cut. I am the type of stylist that listens and respects your desires for your hair, but can also help guide you to a look that is best suited for you and your lifestyle.
Outside of the studio, I am a wife & exhausted mother to two toddler girls, two boy frenchies & one Senegal girl parrot. On top of corralling my zoo at home, cardio is a daily must for me as well as planning my next vacay... most likely to Vegas. I am an extroverted introvert that runs off of any form of caffeine (sodie, coffee, Alani all day everyday). Bravo, TLC & pop culture are my love languages. Catch me at Bravocon!

My name is Anna, born and raised in Louisiana! I recently just moved to the Chicago area.
I specialize in lived in/transformation blonding, vivids, and long cuts. Anyone can do hair but I love being able to create a comfortable space and having a bond with everyone that sits in my chair.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, trying out new restaurants, festivals/concerts, and hanging out with my furbaby, Zeus. I’m the most unserious serious person you can meet but I can’t wait for yall to hang out with me!

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually spending time with my son, grabbing a good iced coffee, or finding little ways to romanticize everyday life. I’m big on good energy, real conversations, and making sure you leave my chair feeling confident, refreshed, and completely yourself.
